Shannon Coulter
Shannon Coulter is a digital strategist and co-founder of the #GrabYourWallet movement (grabyourwallet.org), a boycott of companies that have financial ties to the Trump family. Launched in the wake of the Access Hollywood tapes, the movement's hashtag has been seen over 950 million times on social media and has resulted in 23 companies dropping their business relationship with the Trump family including Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Sears, Kawasaki, Jenny Craig, and Carnival Cruises. The #GrabYourWallet movement has also been instrumental in getting companies to pull advertising dollars from Breitbart and The O'Reilly Factor. Now, #GrabYourWallet is evolving into a non-profit organization that will serve as a central resource for the flexing of consumer power in favor of a more respectful and inclusive society.
Shannon has lived in the Bay Area for 24 years and has worked in tech, clean energy, and media.
